SCRIPTWRITING

As part of Black History Month, Komola Collective ran a Scriptwriting Workshop for Half Moon Theatre.

As a starting point, we used the play Map of Me, which was about the experiences of being a refugee in Britian. This involved a rapid-write workshop, took participants through a series of quick-fire writing exercises to create character relationships and imaginative theatrical worlds. This was a good opportunity to enhance the participants’ understanding of the craft of playwriting.
